This place has a dedicated vegan section on its menu. This no longer existed, but you can find a few vegan options mixed in the standard menu. I had the vegan 'scrambled eggs', which is actually a dahl and it was quite delicious. Very friendly service, also, happy to show what was vegan on the menu.
For a brunch in gordon, probably lunch or a full-day breakfast menu, we stumbled over chalkboard caffe. it is not on the main road train, so it can be a bit secluded, but it was also a little quieter. the menu looked good, so we went in. they make here a series of breaky burgers and the speck and eier role was impressive. sat on a long brioche roll it had a lot of speck, crispy as desired and a nicely cooked egg with a large Runny yolk. the bourbon BBQ sauce added a beautiful tang to the whole meal.
One of me to place for big coffee, I always order double shot (no matter where I go). their barrists are passionate about their coffee and I sometimes heard them about the right drip and speak the right temperature. if you make hundreds of tassen, some places lose their passion, but the peeps in chalkboard have maintained.
Sunday brunch time. a slower start after a late night, just wanted to cool with a good coffee some decent eating. this caffe is cozy seems very popular. the staff was very friendly, was sitting immediately, but then it seems to have forgotten to take my order. I had to get up to order water myself. the coffee, the cap, was pretty good, exactly what I needed. the French toast was served with the most random mix of fruits. pfirsich, berries, grapes (whole) circus. overall the food was ordered, can try them again for lunch only because they are friendly.
