Sushi Village Gordon

I visited this restaurant for lunch on Monday, and the food was fantastic and fresh. However, when I returned on Thursday, the experience was not the same; the rice was dry as it had been sitting in the fridge. On the bright side, the soup and chicken were still delicious. I definitely recommend trying the dishes that are made fresh. I will be coming back!

This place is definitely a hidden gem! The quality of the food is outstanding given the price, especially considering it's in Sydney. The authentic Japanese flavors really shine through, and the sushi is expertly made—it’s clear that it’s crafted by skilled hands, unlike the offerings from some other places. It’s far superior to the Bar Fresko upstairs. I’m eager to return and sample more dishes, like the cold soba noodles, poke bowl, and different ramen variations. If the quality of the rice improves, I would say this restaurant serves better bento than Yayoi. While the ramen might not be the best, it’s still above average.

Sushi Village is situated on the lower ground floor of the Gordon Centre, right on Pacific Highway in Gordon. This restaurant offers Japanese cuisine at an affordable price. You can choose to pick up your order or have it delivered for a small fee. In addition to their classic sushi options, I highly recommend trying the poke bowls. The salmon poke is simply delightful!

Absolutely love this sushi joint, hands down my faves in sydney! they always have a great selection of fresh sushi, udon and takoyaki made with quality ingredients : highly recommend!

My favourite sushi place. Always ordered their soba with dipping sauce and tempura mix. Super satisfying. Great food Great tastes great service.
