Goregaon Social

I went to Goregaon Social after a day-long conference that ended with a formal dinner. Some of us wanted to hang out over a couple of drinks, and one person in the group suggested going to Goregaon Social. Luckily, we didn't have to wait for a long time. The service was prompt, and the vibe was beautiful. Two of us weren't keen on alcohol, so we picked the spiced guava drink, which was amazing. It tasted like the chopped guava with red chilli powder and salt served on roadside stalls. The others in our group ordered beer, and they too had a good time.

Visited this place last week with some office colleagues. This place is actually a pub rather than being a formal restaurant. This was a weekday still the place was fully booked which shows it is quite popular now.The ambience is nice with dim lights and lot of interesting pictures and paintings on almost all the walls. They have wooden tables with huge wooden chairs which are a little uncomfortable because with loud music it becomes difficult to come closer when you want to do some chit- chat. They have a big tv for watching live sports. Coming to the food, i didnt find it that great to be honest. This is on the non-veg side though my veg colleagues seemed to be contented. The prawns dishes were good and the chilly chicken was also good. The chicken lollypop came in a very different form and shape than expected. It came out as a gravy dish rather than a dry lolly pop item and it was too spicy. The berry iced tea was too sweet and came in a saucer type of serving which was too catchy and was not that good. The service was average.Overall it is good for a nice catch-up with friends over some beer or drinks but if you are a foody then it might disappoint you a bit.

One of the best DJ he knows how to keep the crowd engaged and can mix the best music without a pause. Food was great , Calamari was out of Stock, Lamb Kabbab was juicy and delicious

Quite a number of unique cocktails and starters... good atmosphere... go early if you want it quite... the decibel levels go up and the mileau gets colorful as the evening matures... I'm waiting to go again...
