The Glen House - Gorham

We chose this hotel for the location not knowing what the place was like. We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is very new and clean. The rooms were large and the beds were amazing. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food and view very much. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel, we are currently on a month long journey and this is by far the nicest place we have stayed.

So happy we chose this hotel. First off it’s well decorated and clean. Add in the extra amenities like the gym, indoor swimming pool, comfortable indoor/outdoor common areas and a wonderful restaurant and bar (with unique and very tasty food offerings). Our rooms had kohler sinks and faucets which means they didn’t skimp. The rooms were laid out well and, as said before, very clean. Plenty of pillows. The mattress was just below firm too which meant we slept with ease. We left two days ago and I’ve already told 3 people they need to go to this place. Loved our time there.

If you are looking for a place to stay near North Conway Mt. Washington stop scrolling! I strongly recommend to book your stay at The Glen House hotel. We went there last weekend, after a visit to Story Land, and left very impressed. This was our first time here, and it was actually because the hotel we always stayed in (downtown N Conway was fully booked. The Glen House's location is right at the base of Mt. Washington, so you get stunning mountain view surrounding the hotel. They even have an easy trail, great way to start the day! Room was clean, simple but classy layout. Mattress was so comfortable we slept really well. Everything was so clean and maintained. Price does not include breakfast but you can order at the restaurant, Notch Grille, opens at 7AM. The restaurant is honestly one of the reason why this hotel wins my heart. The food..omg..so good. We tried Lobster Risotto and Short Rib (with Coconut Rice and Bokchoy and both really hit the spot. For breakfast we had Oatmeal with Banana Compote and Candied pecans plus Veggie Omellette. Service is 5 stars. Everyone..and I mean everyone were super nice. (My only *ugh* moment was one of the restaurant staff who seemed to be unwilling to give us the outdoor seating, but that's it. The pool is on the smaller side but it is kids friendly. We took a dip after a long day at Story Land. Really cannot wait to get back here!

My favorite hotel in the white mountains. The view at the base of Mount Washington is amazing in the fall. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are good size and comfy, plus it’s dog friendly.

Great hotel all around. Very clean, staff is excellent, pet friendly, and a great location. I rode for 9 plus hours in the 12 hour solo race at 24 hours of glen with the goal of meeting my family for dinner in the hotel restaurant. They allowed an 8:45pm reservation and were paitent with my arrival at 9:20pm with my family ordering beer and food before 9. We also had breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and it was excellent. My family could see me twice during my laps right in front of our balcony as the trails go through the hotel property. We are looking forward to coming back soon and highly recommend this property.
