The John Barleycorn Inn

Had a lovely family lunch. Great pub in a beautiful location. The Sunday roast was delicious and a very enjoyble lamb breast. The servce was excellent. Thankyou.

Arrived as a last minute reservation for a party of 8 for my Pa's birthday dinner. To say we were looked after would be an understatement we felt welcomed immediately, the staff were impeccable and the food was absolutely delightful. Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening!

Stayed here as a stopover for a night while cycling the King Alfred’s Way lovely pub, really nice food and rooms were exceptional. A good place to stop if you’re doing the route as there is secure bike storage.
