The environment is nice and cosy, we chose to sit in the biergarten. The steak was nicely cooked, tender, and with good taste. I believe...the duck breast was slow cooked, tender meat with crispy skin.
We had the wild boar and the venison. Both were excellent. The service is friendly and efficient. The interior is neat. The building is very old as the proprietor will tell you. Plus it sits next to a tiny stream. Everything was wonderful, the food,...beer, desert, service and the setting. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. This was one of our best meals. Highly recommend!
My dinner date and I stopped in after the smell of amazing food wafted from an open door. I was not disappointed. I had the Miner’s plate, and my date had a barbecue chicken with asparagus plate. I must say, my plate was great, hers......was just wow! Probably the best asparagus I’ve ever had, hands down. My date devoured the entire plate and was in bliss, having had it for the first time. Now she’s asking when we can visit once again. The environment was cost, the staff warm, and the wine was delightful. Please stop in, and leave happy!
Old converted water mill on several levels. Warm and comfortable if a little cramped in places. Can cater for large groups, couples or happy to put tables together. Good service and the food was really excellent. We went back twice!
A beautiful location right beside the Stream with friendly staff and great food. Professed to serve all local ingredient and local game the menu offers a good selection of choices including a Hunters disk with three meats. A very enjoyable evening in a...very lovely town.
