Oriental Express - Gosport

Order from here at least once a month. Food is always hot and tastes great. Quick delivery every time. Highly recommended.

We have been loyal customers of Oriental Express for over 15 years. We have occasionally tried other local restaurants, but none compare to the consistently good and fresh meals we receive at Oriental Express.

The food does taste good. Prices have gone up quite a bit, which is to be expected. But it seems that the portion sizes have shrunk and the quality of the ingredients has also dropped. You can't put the price up, reduce portion size and have lesser standard ingredients, ie meat and prawns, and expect the customers to be happy. For example, a special foo young in a small foil container with very little meat in it was I think £7.80, or thereabouts. Absolutely will not be coming again. The cost of a meal here is now too expensive to be enjoyable. For a family of four it is pretty much the same price to go out for a meal, so I know what I will be doing from now on.

Very efficient and swift service without much of a wait. We called in on a Monday before 6pm and we're served quickly. Food was very tasty indeed and everything was a pleasure to eat. Our first ever visit here and we'll be going back when it's a next big birthday. Thank you

I have ordered food from this restaurant before and it was excellent - very quick, hot, and tasty. It was so good that I had my 82-year-old mom order by phone! Our go-to appetizer is the 1/4 crispy duck pancakes, they are delicious. For our main course, we tried the king prawns with green peppers in black bean sauce, which was also fantastic. The total came to £18 with free prawn crackers included. I highly recommend this place.
