Schwarzer Adler - Gossau

A very decent Chinese restaurant. the food was in order, the service was also on par (with exception of the manager who is large), the ambiente was also ok and in general there were no unpleasant surprises bit there was also no pleasant. everything. in all, everything could have been a bit better, but after I said that I would probably visit this restaurant again on my next trip to gossau!

I like this restaurant very much. the family owner is still in service and knows his customers even after months. the dishes (especially the home recipes), where everything is very good and can be shared on the table. the lunch menus are also very delicious

We eat here two or three times a month. the restaurant is located in the family chee. the personal is very friendly and obligated. there is also flexibility. for example, they can not eat of ingredients they prefer. lunch menus. are served from Monday to Friday, with the exception of celebrations. it is mostly busy too day! the selection varies from day to day meat, fish and vegetarian dishes are always present. daily specialties include salat and a main course with rice or noodles, depending on the choice. the prices for lunch are reasonable, small portions are only required! three appetizers can also contain the suppe of the day, wan tan and veggie spring rolls. we also ate here in the evening. the duck is raised crispy, tender and hot! the prices are somewhat higher, but still fair, rice and noodles are extra. a few tips: Monday closed they will be available, 10% discount in the price call for a reservation many parking closed for several weeks during summer school vacation!

The restaurant was recommended to us some paints, but actually the experience was quite disappointing. the staff was friendly, eating was between poor and average. Asian foods are usually quite expensive in Switzerland, and honestly mostly only ok compared to Chinese...restaurants in england or the usa. this restaurant is unfortunately not different. early roles were really not good, wan tan and the rest of the main course was only average.

I used to go here regularly. The waiters and owner are quite friendly and sincere when they greet you. If you go at lunchtime, a Reservation is a good idea or you won't find much space. The Food used to be much better and it...was a good place to go for good Food at a reasonable cost. The last time I was there, I was disappointed. They also have nice big round tables so that you can eat and share with a group. Or you can eat at a table for two. Usually, if I'm not there with a group, we sit at a long table with other guests and sometimes you can start talking to them. I always take my dog with me and she is always welcome.
