I loved this restaurant. I had the feeling to be at home. The server was so kind. Just take the menu of the day. You will have the soup of the day, the salad of the day, the main dish, the plate of cheese and the dessert. I skipped some of those elements. The food is very simple and very good.
My boss and I ended up there as we were starving and being mid-week in winter, we knew we wouldn't have much of a choice. We weren't disappointed by it! The patrons are from the Alps, so expect a lot of cheese! I had a great steak (faux filet) with a ceps and cheese side and mangetout. The plate was very well presented and really tasty. My boss had a savoury pancake (galette de sarazin) which was very filling, and she couldn't finish it. We also shared a beautiful creme brulee, and thankfully we shared it! We wouldn't have been able to have one dessert each! The wine we had was also from the Alps, and it was just gorgeous. I would love to come back in summer, where it would be busy and even more inviting. It was lovely to be welcomed so warmly considering they were about to pack up, as there was only one table filled.
Good restaurant, the staff and the boss are very friendly, report quality prices nothing to tell the dishes are copied (my wife could not finish are plate), and especially fresh products which is a rare commodity nowadays, there are regional dishes as well as savoyard dishes, I strongly recommend I come back for the savoyard dish.
Two times just good and good food. Received and served is hearty. Explained and followed the recommendation. Fine.
