Hikari Sushi Train - Governors Bay

Best sushi train in Christchurch! Centrally located in Riverside Market. Great sushi, handy that all plates are the same price. I love the Salmon Aburi and spring rolls. Great place for the family. We love it!!

This is my daughter and my fave place for surprise lunch. So many options and always super fresh. Love it.

A fun spot with a wonderful atmosphere in Riverside Market. Sushi came out consistently and efficiently on the train. We came at night on a weekday so it wasn’t crowded and the music in the background was relaxing. We were able to special order sushi that we didn’t see on the belt.

Always great food on offer here. Amazing selections as well. If you haven't already, you should check it out.

This place had the nicest staff! They were super helpful and offered to make anything off the menu that we can’t find on the train. We started off dinner with a few plates off the train. some of the plates were great but the salmon sashimi didn’t taste as fresh as I wanted it but that was the only downside. I highly recommend instead of taking plates off the sushi train order the made to order plates and they were all delicious and tasted super fresh! This place would definitely get a 5 star review if the train sushi was just a little fresher tasting everything else was perfect! Definitely come and check out this place for a cool experience.
