Jaba Grill And The Palms

Had a fantastic meal last Tuesday night. The steak was perfectly grilled and tender, bone marrow succulent and dessert was on point. Server was friendly and attentive. Would recommend if you want a great steak! Next time I'm in Christchurch, I will come and visit again.

Absolutely amazing experience, took my 4 yr old there too. They had set up some coloring in stuff for her. Staff are friendly and consistent. Food quality was Absolutely amazing. Best steak I have had in a long time. I got med-rare. The marrow bone is so good. Totally recommend i am very pleased with this random choice of restaurant I have no regrets.

Very good experience for me. Particularly the staff and personal service. These staff were upbeat, knowledgeable and made you feel like a welcome guest. I had the largest Ribeye (bone in, meduim rare, and Peppercorn gravy), it came with bone marrow (brilliant) and I opted for a baked Potato with sour cream. The food was cooked perfectly with their low ember method. Had dessert (Cheesecake) and it was well presented and I would say it was just okay. All in all I have to give them 5 stars because not only can they hold their own with their steaks compared to other places, their effort on the while experience is unmatched, and that make them a absolute must try place.

Friendly, fast service, Great environment, tasty meals. The only thing we were disappointed with, was that the garlic prawn dish was very cheesy. Which had we known we would of probably asked for something else or no cheese. Other than that it was amazing.

What a pleasant experience! It was our first time at Jaba Grill and we are sure that we will be visiting again. It was the one in The Palms that we visited for having lunch. We tried the Black Angus Rump and the Hereford Ribeye (21 days aged). Perfectly cooked steak on charcoal with marvelous salad and chips! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The A must visit for steak lovers!!!
