Le Domaine Des Tentations - Gradignan

This is a very pretty restaurant in a delightful setting by a Water Mill and river. We had a brilliant meal which I felt was worthy of a Michellin Star* When I say local , this is a suberb of Bordeaux so might well be known well beyond it 's location, given the quality of the food here. Definetely worth a visit. Only thing, I notice other reviews refer to Sunday Lunch and when we enquired they saud they closed Sundays...?

25 of us sat down to enjoy lunch on the day before my son's wedding. We had all preordered so I was somewhat surprised when some people did not get what they ordered because the restaurant ran out. Apart from that the food was good, however, I could not describe it as fine dining. We all enjoyed a happy meal on the terrace.

Le cadre et le confort sont parfaits, tout comme l'accueil. La qualité des plats est correcte (sans plus) mais les portions laissent à désirer. En ce qui concerne le dessert (une délicate tarte aux pommes), il doit être commandé à l'avance, ce qui est compréhensible lorsque l'on mise sur la fraîcheur. Cependant, ici, je pense que ce délai était destiné à décongeler le dessert... Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que nous avons mangé !

Friendly restaurant in a bucolic setting. menu at noon in week with dish or dessert. the tips were good and nicely presented at the entrance, the dish was correct but without more, the duck was not tender enough. Smiling and efficient service.
