Weisshorn, Brigger Doris - Graechen

Revisited the Weisshorn 2 years later and have to say the FOOD THE CHEF/S THAT PREPARE MAKE THE FOOD HERE ARE AMAZING!!!! I decided to order the same dish that I had previously 2 years before and The Filet Steak vom Black Angus RindKalbs Jus was WUNDERBAR!!! The other people in my party ordered 2 lamb-entreote as well as Wallis Alpensteak which also OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!!!! and the kiddies had various pizzas which are also great!!! And their desserts and glace (ice cream) is heavenly. So bottom line. WIll be coming back again and again in the Zukunft!!!

The Weisshorn is a local great restaurant and the food gets a 5 out of 5 stars. The chef gets full kudos for the food that is served here!!!!! I have included a couple of pictures which says it all for the 2 dishes that were ordered. The Filet-Steak vom Black Angus RindKalbs-Jus Honig-Speckwürfel Gommer Cholera-Zigarre Pinot Noir-Risottofilet was bar none, the BEST FILET that I have ever tasted and then to compliment, the beef came with the BEST risotto that I have ever tasted served cooked in a glass jam jar and infused with a local Walliser pinoit noir. And to boot this dish came with a beautiful cheese filled spring roll, which was incredible, not greasy, just amazing!!!! The other dish was the Lammrücken von der Bergalp . A lovely piece of lamb cooked to perfection wrapped in a crepe... Unbelievable!!!! Go to this restaurant!!! You will not be disappointed. Oh yes went there a few times and the Gorgonzola pizza with Pear is amazing also!!!!

Not particularly nice service but an incredibly good herbal fondue

Very nice staff. The pizzas were very tasty, even if they looked more like a quiche, but that didn't compromise the taste. I liked the self-service salad buffet and the salad dressing was very good. The garlic butter that was served with the bread was also nice. Children are very welcome and you feel comfortable as a family.

The food and service were great, but the host couple didn't put a group of children and adults in their place. The children were still the calming force. An average level of 85Db was standard... What a shame.
