This place is a must, every time we get to our place, we have to stop for breakfast. It's just delicious! Friendly staff and great prices. Miss, if you dare.

We were in the area and that was a short walk from where we were. The wine is excellent value for money €8 for a good Rioja, coffee €1,50. The large English breakfast is also excellent at 5,50 € The menu... is really good, highly recommended lamb, goats and pork. This is away from tourist areas so little English is spoken, but we get it well received with hand signals. If you're in the area, pay them a visit!

We never stay at Cortes de Baza or Castillejar without stopping at Emilio's, even if its only for a coffee. Emilio and his brother and the waitresses are so friendly and don't let the language barrier prevent them from trying to communicate with a couple...of ageing English people who ought to be able to speak Spanish better than they do! Emilio, if you see this (and know what it says! Mafia will be back in November!
