Contribuisci feedbackDidn't really expect much from just looking at the menu. Seemed like more of a place to get a drink rather than a nice meal. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. The waiter had pictures of the items on the food menu on his phone so he could provide you with more information to assist you in making you choice.
We asked first of all of they could cope with my food allergy...garlic. We had already tried 2 other restaurants. The waiter was amazing, he had food allergies himself so I knew it would be ok. We had a lovely meal and listened to live music. My husband's tomahawk pork chop was enormous and my chicken in a sweet sauce was delicious.
A secret jewel hidden temple of very fine sherry wines(Generosos-Finos, Manzanillas, Olorosos, Amontillados, etc) and Red Tuna from Almadraba . Despite the appearance of a very simple place, where most of the customers come for the classic beer tapa with a great view to the Alhambra, Javier, the owner, knows how to treat that special gourmet that is seeking a top notch gastronomic experience. I have already visited two times and Javier has surprised me and my guests also with unique white wines from Andalucia that Javier finds himself. Musts to try the Tuna Tartar, the dried Tuna(Mojama de Atún) that could be compared with an Iberian Ham from the sea and the Galete that he cooks gently in the oven. Faired priced for the quality you get!
The tuna is very good. We also eat adobo and very rich. Also, to be in such an emblematic and touristic place, the price is not expensive. highly recommended!
En primer lugar, destacaría la muy buena atención recibida. Hay suficientes y muy eficientes camareros para asistir a todas las mesas perfectamente, que falta en otros lugares donde se ve un escaso personal y, por lo tanto, estresado. para destacar el gran kiki pendiente todo el tiempo de los detalles más mínimos. También se aprecia que, con el primer consumo, pusieron un plug. todo lo que pedimos ( ensalada de tomate con burrata y albahaca, pastel de atún y calabaza llenada) eran productos de calidad y bien preparados. sólo un palo, relativo al calamar de relleno, que nos parecía pequeño, lejos de los 700 gramos que se anuncian en la pizarra. No es que prefiramos un calamar tan grande, sino un par de calamares medianos que jotifican los 25 euros que cuestan el plato. la torta de zanahoria buena y contundente. excelente corte de café. Lo descubro porque no en todas partes tienen interés en hacer café bien. y un licor de hierba casera, con canela, muy bueno. si todo esto unimos las vistas y el soleado bajo sombrilla, por desear regresar.
