This place is such a mixed bag! Great view, and you can sit in the sun (or shade if you prefer), right near where the buses come in if you're waiting for one. Open at lunch time which many places aren't. Not TOO hard to get a table. And some of the food is GREAT, have a look at my photos of the Crazy Prawns and the Breaded Mushrooms amazing. The meatballs were a bit odd though. Good chicken kebabs. Service was quite random waiter never smiled but did joke occasionally; one time (the meatballs) never arrived, so as it arrives bit by bit (tapas style I guess) if the interval gets too long you have to chase them up. So five stars for the best food, two for the less good, two for the service, four for the view. Equals about four...

El Imperio del Pintxo is a popular spot opposite to Playa Chica. We enjoyed a shared fresh salad and calamari accompanied by white wine and Aquarius lemon flavour. My friend, her mother and I arrived for lunch. We were tired. It was very hot and we wanted to sit in the shade. The only table available was for 5 people. First, we were told that we could not use it. We didn't feel welcome but a lovely gentleman who was leaving gave us his table. My wheelchair bound elderly friend distressed by the heat was refused to sit by the shade. The food arrived with Tomas. He was very friendly, warm very attentive and caring. He made our lunch very pleasant. Tomas and the lovely food made a difference . Thank God I don't rely on first impressions. Canarian people's joyful and friendly energy have been an important ingredient to our great holiday. Will go back to try the paella.

100% food made at home was on the promenade of the medal and we went for 3 laps looking for where to eat. I certainly don't regret that I'm finished here, the food is as good as sin. the presentation of the surprise dishes because I would dare to say that it is better than in the photos and flavor that we no longer speak! in this visit I could not add photos while we finished everything ... (in my next visit the addendum.) the staff is very nice and professional. I highly recommend this site, already to come in family or as a couple! Cheers! (cocktails are also worth it)

Varied tapas and at good price. with a terrace facing the sea. mini burgers are very rich but certainly the best is attention. We were treated by a brunette girl with long hair and she was lovely.
