Floyd's At Captain's Club - Grand Blanc

The grounds are lovely, accessible through a winding subdivision. The outdoor ceremony took place near a gazebo to the right, while the reception was held in a tent behind the clubhouse. I was disappointed to find that the seating at the ceremony was not socially distanced – guests were clustered together and few wore masks. I had expected either spaced-out chairs or designated empty seats in between. Despite that, the ceremony space was stunning, with the gazebo providing a charming backdrop for the vows. After the ceremony, guests moved to two tents that hosted the reception. The tables were reasonably spaced apart, and the bartenders were appropriately masked and gloved. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We were seated in the second tent, which made it difficult to see the main tent and the head table. The reception felt a bit slow-paced, particularly since staff needed to serve the buffet to guests, but I understood the necessity of this approach. The restrooms, located inside the clubhouse, were clean and well-maintained. Overall, I enjoyed the food; while some dishes were a bit bland, they were satisfying and filling.

The course is in excellent condition. Finally, a place with a lovely beverage cart attendant—Allison was very kind and made sure our drinks were always full. It's a great course with friendly staff, so if you haven't played here yet, I highly recommend it!

The golf course was in terrible condition. It hasn't been watered in weeks, resulting in brown tee boxes with little to no grass. The greens appeared to have been spray painted because they were completely dead. I wasn't expecting much for $45 on a Sunday, but I can confidently say this course will not be on my list again.

$32 for 18 on a Tuesday it's April... Another business gouging because of covid I guess? Tee boxes and cart paths are absolutely horrendous.

What a delightful, delicious and convenient bar/grille located in a great club house. Wednesday Trivia Night during the off season (winter) has been and was a ton of fun! During peak seasons the bar and grille still hold up with their drinks and food that tastes delicious! Like every other business in small town America in 2022 staffing is tough but somehow Jen, Al, Syd and the whole back of the house with their Chef has kept the Captains Club a family favorite of ours! Kudos to you all!!!
