It's great, comforting food for a fast-food joint. The meat was really juicy; I had the pulled pork sandwich along with some burnt ends. The sides were served hot, and I tried the green beans and baked potato casserole. Absolutely delicious!
I was really looking forward to trying Dickey's and had high expectations, but unfortunately, the food was quite underwhelming given the high prices. The rolls felt and tasted undercooked. The brisket was extremely bland and seemed unseasoned. The sausage, while flavorful, was excessively greasy—after squeezing it in several paper towels, it still dripped grease. I ordered the three-meat plate for $15.50 and a pulled pork slider for $3. To my dismay, a third of the slider was just a piece of solid fat, with the meat not being pulled at all but instead just two slices on a bun. The burnt ends were mostly fat and skin, with very little actual meat. Both the burnt ends and the sliced brisket were tasteless and overly fatty. Even with BBQ sauce, it didn't improve much. The highlight of the meal was honestly the Lays potato chips. I really cannot recommend this place at all; I was very disappointed.
The food was average, earning three stars, while the service truly stood out with five stars! The original BBQ wings as an appetizer were just okay; the cooking was fine, but the sauce lacked excitement. The brisket sandwich had good flavor, but the meat was somewhat dry under the crust. I tried the pork burnt ends, and they were quite disappointing. I had them for the first time at a different BBQ place two weeks ago and they were fantastic, so I had high hopes here, but they fell short. On a positive note, the sides of okra and creamy spinach were the highlights of the meal.
Don't see what the hype is about. They messed up our order. The chilli tasted like canned pork n beans. The smallest portions I've ever had at a BBQ joint. For good BBQ either cook your own or visit the South. Overpriced. The staff was nice, but had a long wait for a completely empty restaurant of pre cooked food.
Great place, great tasting food, clean and very spacious. Free ice cream at the end. Yum.
