I also waited 31min for a menu, only after I opened my hand to get another waitress attention of course, restaurant had only about 5-6 other people there at this time. 19min later I had to get her attention to the order of means of life. I've cooked, but the hunger is stronger in me, and I've never waited for food for so long, over 45min. I wanted to get up and run away, but I ordered steak medium and I was excited about it. I'm just mad. the waitress goes by and give me my drink I ask her is almost ready to eat. she'll look. 5min later, she brought me my food. steak is burned like extra good. I'm just very disappointed about food quality and I'm not waiting 50min to make my steak right. it was so much time. almost 2 hours. here at 1:52. I'm very disappointed. as if I were extremely disappointed. down there.
We like to come early afternoon because I don't eat out much during covid. The waitresses are always friendly and welcoming. We like the New Menu that starts at 3 p.m. Special prices and menu items. The few times we have come as been very nice and the food is great!
My son and I stopped in this morning for a late breakfast while on a mini vacation. The place was quite busy and obviously understaffed. Our waitress was in street clothes but was running her tail off. It took over an hour to get our food. All that being said, it was still a very good experience! There was only one server, one dishwasher and one cook scheduled to work. Our server volunteered to come in to help knowing it would be busy. She was running food, seating people and helping in the kitchen. The dishwasher was on the floor clearing all tables. I want to thank them all for showing up, coming to work when no one else would and keeping smiles on their faces and positive attitudes! Happy Independence Day!
Waitress looked like a deer in headlights when I asked for gravey with my hashbrowns. She asked if I wanted it on the side ? I wanted gravey ON my hashbrowns. She was so confused by my request ...
I hate to give poor reviews and this wasn't the waitress fault. She was the only one on the floor. She had no help and angry truckers due to the hour wait for food. Where was the manager to help?? Nowhere to be seen. Eggs and hash browns where over cooked or burnt. Part of the order was wrong or missing at first. I understand if you under staffed but ain't it a managers job to assist where needed and calm costumers when this ain't quite running smoothly. As a trucker it's nice to have a warm cooked meal over a heart attack in a sack. This was not the truck stop dinner experience I wanted for my daughters first time out with dad. Guess we will try again at another truck stop.
