Great food truck. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Quaint and delicious. The Squealer is an excellent sandwich. Friendly service, no wait.

I live for finds like this. We were walking around the rather sleepy town of Grand Marais and I saw a small trailer around the corner. As we got closer I was intrigued that it might actually be an eating establishment. Sure enough, Alyce's is a super fun small joint that serves great food and even has a small sitting place with 2 tables in case the weather gets inclement. (Something that never happens in Minnesota) Alyce and her mom man the store and cook up some really tasty vittles. I had the Squealer, a pork sandwich with thin slices of seasoned pork with a drip-down-your-chin sauce of wonderfulness. The burger was also very good, but I was drawn to the crispness of the fries. Her fries are just super crispy and have lots of potato-ey taste. It makes a trip up to grand Marais worth it as there's not a lot to do in town.

My wife and I were walking down the street and we're looking a for a treat. Another Donut shop had closed for the day. We noticed a small little food truck. We met Alyce and she was a hoot! She has been a Chef for 30 yrs. She now enjoys her little truck, because she can cook what she wants to prepare. We had fresh donuts and a Orange Float. Both were incredible. I wish I could have had the Squealer sandwich. It sounded great. Next time. Go there! And Alyce....your right! Don't ever serve brussel sprouts and beets!
