There is a wide variety of vegetable roll options, including a veg tempura that I have never seen anywhere else. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, with flowers and cute details that make it look stunning. The smoked tofu (without egg) was incredibly delicious and filling, as was the seaweed salad. The sushi bar itself is elegant, modern, and welcoming, creating an intimate atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a nice date night. Overall, the price is worth it for the experience.
Fantastic. service was fast and they brought more than enough food! delicious!
Had a great time! 9/10.Atmosphere: kind of a quick-eats vibe, I probably wouldn't want to spend a ton of time here it was a little chilly, the seating was not overly comfortable, and the layout kept making me want to check behind me before I got up. Overall, nice modern furnishings and decent atmosphere I went here for lunch with 2 others, we were seated immediately, and service was nice. 9/10Food: Pretty fantastic, 8/10. Companions had sushi and a rice burrito, and I had some seaweed salad, dumplings, and shumai. I also had a taro boba tea, which was alright (boba was a tiny bit underdone). I was overall not stunned, but everything was competently made. I think the sauces that came with the shumai and dumplings were a bit overly sweet I wish the tables had black vinegar and chili oil, but this is very much a modern, fusion place, so the lack didn't surprise me. If you can get ramen, pho, and deep-fried sushi rolls, the authenticity might be just a tiny bit lacking.Service: 10/10. Attentive and kind server, made sure we were taken care of without being too overbearing.Bathrooms: 9/10, but only 2 single-occupancy stalls. During a busy time, this might mean a bit of a wait. Points for the changing room table, having paper towels, and cleanliness. It's also pretty well decorated and smelled nice.Overall: a good time. I was surprised to not see an Iwai mars on the bar, but I'm not sure how local supplies of whiskey are, as I was just in the area for 3 days.
My family and I have been to many sushi restaurants in the Grand Rapids area looking for a place comparable to NYC. As a sushi/sashimi lover I've been looking for a place to get good sushi and I think I've found the place. Spicy tuna was excellent. Sushi overall was very good and surprisingly they had Unni and we tried it. It was very flavoful and fresh. Not to mention, their curry ramen was delicious as well. We will definitely be back again. Thank Ginza for a great meal!
Fantastic dinner with family (reservations is a must to avoid waiting time). we came with a party of 20 people and we were all happy at the end of dinner: service is excellent, credited to our server ms. shirley, she is fantastic, friendly and very patient with our crowded party. very appreciated. each order is on point, tasty and tasty, from ramen noodles to pho, to the numerous sushi and sashimi, beautifully done by the chefs and served well on time. I'm just showing some pictures of dinner here. parking spaces behind the restaurant in a parking garage (free). many thanks for a nice dinner. we are back next year for our no high time.
