Rak Thai Bistro - Grand Rapids

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. The atmosphere was beautiful. I ordered the garlic tofu noodles with a sweet and spicy level 3. It was perfect for me - not too spicy, but still flavorful with a hint of sweetness. I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again.

I tried the spicy miso with extra noodles for the first time at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and rich broth. The noodles were decent, although a bit thinner than I prefer for ramen. While it may not have been the best bowl of noodles I've ever had, it was still a good option considering there are limited ramen places in the area.

I was in the mood for some Thai food this holiday weekend and luckily this restaurant was open. The curry pad Thai was amazing! We usually get our curry noodle Thai from a different location, but now we have a new contender. The round container they serve the food in is large, heavy, and filled to the top. We had read in previous reviews that there wasn't enough curry sauce on the dishes, so we ordered extra on the side. We would recommend others to do the same because there was definitely not enough curry sauce in our meals either. The only reason we would still go to our other Thai location is because of the price. Rak is on the pricey side.

I recently tried the downtown market for the first time and decided to order from Rak. I chose the Rak fried rice with chicken, requesting it be made without any spice. It was absolutely delicious! The dish was perfectly seasoned, filled with vegetables, and the chicken was really tender.

I love the sushi at this restaurant! The service is quick and the food is fresh. We will definitely be returning. We came back on July 11th and ordered the shrimp fried rice, which was a bit too salty for our liking. However, the bubble tea was fantastic and the sushi was as fresh and delicious as always.
