Chapbook Cafe At Schuler Books

Stopped here for lunch as my mom also needed to look for a book for her book club. I ordered a Mediterranean salad. Reading from the menu mixed greens, red onion, mushroom and cucumber with balsamic vinaigrette and brie croutons . My first clue should have been the description in the singular because it was basically a plate of very overpriced greens with a thin slice of onion and 2 of the thinnest slices of mushroom I have ever seen and a tiny piece of cucumber. Not a crouton in sight. I also added chicken to the salad which was cold and dry. I 'm uncertain as to how Chapbook considers this a salad and something that they would actually charge for and serve to their guests.

Great food and great coffee. My wife and I had a great, chill date night. Would recommend for a relaxing sit by the fire with a good cup of coffee.

Lots of tables and open till 7:30 great place for a late ish coffee and pastry.
