Stopped in for a Pastrami on rye with some brown mustard to go. When I got back in my car and on the road again. Took out half of the sandwich looked ok,not as piled high as described in some of the reviews but decent. First bite was spicy but ok. Thought the mustard was pretty spicy but it was the amount of pepper that was on the meat, so much so that my mouth was on fire and I drank half a bottle of water. It didn’t have a Smokey flavor at all and it seemed that there was no coriander used. The meat it self was tough not moist and fall apart at all. Like a corned beef brisket cooked to fast. Servias friendly and fast. Never again!
This is one of the best sandwich shops ever! I make a point to come here every time I'm in town. If you want a place with a down home, feel quality food, and extremely nice staff. Check out this place for a great sandwich.
A rose growing out of the sidewalk. Favorite place to get a sandwich in GR
Thinking you have the authority to tell people they have to pay more in order to share their sandwiches with a friend or family member is ridiculous. I'm going to share if I like, but from a better establishment with no control issues.
I've tried this place a few times, and everyone at the counter is super sweet but I just can't seem to love there food as much as everyone else does and as much as I would like to ... I got the big john today and it was flavorless, the bacon wasn't cooked, it was full of grease so much so my bread was soggy and my pickle had grease all over it. I've tried multiple sandwiches and none of them have hit home. This place just seems overrated but also it's my experience and opinion. Still recommend you try it for yourself.. I give it a two star because the owner is nice.
