After getting takeout for the first time in a while, there is a palpable loss of quality/flavor/ingredients here. This used to be the best hidden gem. Now the price has gone up and the flavor and quality has gone down. The Kung Pao chicken was exceptionally bland. It's still a decent choice compared to other options on Alpine, you just need to drastically lower your expectations.
We dined in and the food was hot, fresh and tasted great. Loved the crab meat, egg rolls and soup. Can’t beat the combination dinner prices. And Austin, our server, went above and beyond! He was attentive, provided suggestions, and even boxed up our leftovers…a service I haven’t seen done in a while. Highly recommend!
The hot and sour soup tasted off and greasy served in an extra small cup. They only offer one kind of egg roll, and the only other option is one extra ragoon instead, which is not comparable. Way too skimpy for $15. Service was good, atmosphere nothing special. Will not return.
The service is great, food is amazing. Never been disappointed. The place is so clean, you can tell the owner takes great pride in his restaurant.
