They are very friendly and everything is cooked fresh. Anyone who comes over when we order Chinese gets hooked on this restaurant. Definitely worth a try!
This location has become a poor mans pirtion location. I ordered a Consummate soup. The girl gave me only have a bowl. Really !! I asked the girl do I pay half price for a half bowl. She said yes as uts a good soup. Wow ...I can't beleive it. Also we gave the place a 2nd chance on a take out order. crushed rice container. Soup thatcwasvleaking. Chicken balls cooked overwell . Chow mein was watered down with no flavour. Called they said Oh So Sorry then hung up.
Good food. Average price. Usually get Dinner for 5 for the leftovers. No buffet. Buffet would be a good addition.
My son and I order delivery today from Far East in Garson and my son is a bit of a fussy eater, so when I said I would order the family dinner 2B with chow mein noodles, he immediately asked if I was sure that it was the tiny noodles instead of the sprouts. I actually did a Google image search to verify and showed him, but low and behold when I got my order it came with chop suey instead of chow mein. I called the restaurant to let them know and they told me that chow mein and chop suey are the same. I told the girl that I actually Googled it to make sure and that what I got was not chow mein. She proceeded to tell me they no longer make the tiny noodles and asked where I got that information; I told her I ordered the “Chow Mein” off their website. She continued to tell me that chow mein is the same as chop suey and wasn’t willing to make this wrong a right… I proceeded to let her know that I will no longer be ordering food from their establishment. It’s really too bad, the food is good but at the end of the day, service should be as well. I guess I will just have to order take out from the Orient on Lasalle (which is absolutely AMAZING) and take the drive in to town.
Refreshing to have a mix of western Chinese food and Cantonese. While not the quality of toronto/Vancouver /Calgary. I will come here again as it seems to be our only option in the north. Good flavours cooked well. Got the Cantonese chow Mein which had shrimp, chicken, pork along with broccoli, coliflower, celery, mushrooms, carrots, red green peppers. Noodles were wet not fried. Also got lunch special beef with broccoli this was heavily flavoured with soy, fried rice had little flavour. Spring roll was good wonton soup.
