Happy Watermelon, La Sandia Feliz

We loved this place so much that we stayed three days later on the way to home. probably the best Mexican food we've ever had with unique dressing and aromen. the fruit is fresh and beautiful and there are many options to choose from. rosy was so friendly and patient helped us guide through the menu. we can't expect to go back. Don't miss it!

The restaurant is consistently great at accommodating my request to have the regular cheese removed from my rajas de chile pupusa. They now use chopped jalapeños, which adds a nice twist without altering the delicious dish.

Have drove from Sunnyside multiple times and its closed when the times on their page say open.. This last time we showed up workers were still there (7:30pm, their page said closing at 8pm) the workers were getting last orders out to cars. When my husband told them their page said 8 they told him. “Oh no we are already cleaning up just getting last orders done”. Instead of taking his order, they made it an inconvenience. Messaged them, could’ve at least got an apology but nope just left on read. Have gone to them since they opened but they just lost a customer.

I love this restaurant! There are so many options to choose from. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food, but the wait can be a bit long. However, it is definitely worth it! The food is prepared fresh and is absolutely delicious.
