Sakura Japanese - Grandville

My husband and I brought our three sons to this restaurant for dinner, and it was truly fantastic! The boys had a great time, our chef was entertaining and made the experience enjoyable for the kids. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

On one of the busiest weekends of the year, we arrived at the restaurant before the dinner rush at 4:30 pm. We waited in line for 10 minutes before being seated, only after seeking assistance from a random waiter. The hostess hurriedly showed us to our table after leaving us standing there. Feeling unsure about our decision to dine there, she eventually signaled for us to follow her from across the restaurant. Our waitress took our drink order and promptly delivered them to our table before we ordered our appetizers and entrées. The timing was off as our appetizer arrived quickly followed by our entrées, leaving us with cold food. To top it off, our check and take-home containers were brought to us only 5 minutes after our main course. It felt like they were rushing us out the door with the message of "Here's your food, now pay and leave!"

The staff at this restaurant really go the extra mile for their customers. When I found out that 3/4 of my order was missing, they promptly delivered the missing items to me. Andrea, in particular, was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. A big shout out to the Sakura crew!
