O'connell's Pub - Granite City

New Owners who brought on top notch staff. Everything on the menu one-ups the next. Prices and poor's more than generous. Atmosphere is far above any in the community. I'm not advocating, just advising. Best place East side of the Mississippi. There is not a bar and grill in the entire Stl Metro area that rivals. Hat's off to this establishment, and the patrons. A definite must visit!

I belive the person that talked to me was the owner he was disrespectful . he told me that he had done told me once to come come there that is not true he mistake me for someone else. when i tried to talk to him reasonably he was a complete jerk. he dont have to worry about me spending my money in there anymore i wont be back and ill spread the word about his attitude and disrespect for no reason. he must be old and going senile. no prolly not i could over look that he is just a jerk

Very poor barmaid service went to get away last week n never got nothing to drink no matter how many times I went to bar from games /last night me 10 yr wedding anniversary alone husband had to work went to relax n have a drink again different barmaid never was served again second time in one week first maid was wasted beyond repair n loud as hell a perfect match for what I got away from so if I had to say very chitty service I will walk across town to play slots or take bus to st.louis n risk it . Not to mention just because lady is alone don't mean she can't handle her own 2 guys at door smoking tryed hitting on me coming in I shut them down quick ! Hay baby what's ur name (gag) my name or it's my name my momma told me never talk to strangers especially when it's my ten year wedding anniversary ! Major shut down !!!!!!!!!!!!!
