I wasn't expecting much of this place, but was v pleasantly surprised! Really tasty food and fab service, would definitely go back. Presentation was great, and it was all really flavoursome. Good service and reasonable price.

Food was basic, this year we found it very expensive compared to last year. We visit Grantown once a year but don't think we will be back as everyone agreed that it seemed a whole lot more expensive this year for nothing special.

Great variety of vegetarian dishes! There are some small vegetable options perfect for sharing. The flavors are fantastic. The vegetarian biryani is a must-try! They also have a good selection of beer, including a couple of unique choices. The seating is great for large groups.

I know this might disappoint some locals, but I feel it’s important to be honest. I want to clarify that the flavors here do not represent traditional Indian cuisine. It seems to be a Bangladeshi establishment serving Bangladeshi dishes, so please refrain from labeling it as Indian. I appreciate the effort that goes into the cooking and understand why local Scottish people might have grown to enjoy the flavors; perhaps this is how the cuisine has adapted over time. Chicken tikka should never be bright ruby red, vegetable jalfrezi doesn’t need an excessive amount of chilies, mushroom garlic should be more than just chopped mushrooms, and naan certainly doesn’t require a yellow turmeric coating. As for what I tasted as ‘kulfi,’ I still can’t quite comprehend it. While I acknowledge that this restaurant may be popular, it simply isn’t Indian. I do want to thank them for providing warm meals to my team on Christmas Eve when many places were closed. I wish them all the best moving forward.

I ordered paneer but was given prawns instead, which I can't eat as a vegetarian. I noticed a staff member had clearly written 'paneer' on the ticket. I only realized the mistake when I returned to my AirBnB and opened the order.
