As for the garlic chicken itself, it was underwhelming; I left more than half of it on the plate despite being hungry. We also ordered a lobster dish, which was a roll topped with lobster. To our disappointment, it only had about eight tiny pieces of what was supposed to be lobster, although it tasted more like crayfish. Additionally, the waitress forgot my iced tea, and I had to remind her about it. Overall, I left feeling hungry and disappointed.
The weight staff was very friendly and engaging. However, the food was not good. Calamari came out cold, told them I did not want it. They brought out another “on the house” and charged me for it. ? I would avoid this place if possible.
The Sushi Bar I had been a regular at for 20 years moved to a new site. At there new site they no longer have a Sushi Bar. They have supplanted it with a full on Alcohol Bar. They moved their Sushi chefs to the back with the house cook.Their Sushi was always good. I had gone there for the ambiance of a Sushi Bar. I am single and by myself and I enjoyed the banter that usually developed between the guests and Sushi. Now I was told that I could die at their Alcohol bar and enjoy the same atmosphere...baloney!!! Who the heck goes to a Sushi Bar and wants to sit with a bunch of drunk people.Thank goodness I found Koi. The food is excellent. Everything was so fresh, even the Wasabi.i have lived in Oregon since 1998 and Koi is the best Japanese restaurant and Sushi Bar that I have been to
The prices are really good, the people were very nice. The food hit the spot, delicious.
