Gaylord Texan Resort Convention Center

This is an outstanding place to stay! It has everything you could want, so you don't even need to leave the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly, quick to assist, and very accommodating. Every restaurant we tried served delicious food. The shopping options are fantastic, and the pool area is a lot of fun, complete with drinks and music. However, we did find the drinks to be a bit pricey, so be sure to budget for that if you enjoy having a drink. The grounds and hotel are impeccably clean and well-maintained, with so many captivating sights that you'll find yourself constantly looking around as you explore. I could easily see myself returning here and spending a whole week just enjoying everything it has to offer!

The courtyard is beautifully maintained, making it a wonderful setting for a conference. However, everything else was quite disappointing. After dining at the Texan station and the outdoor pool grill, my toddler and I both fell ill. As a result, we had to cancel all our dinner reservations. The bartenders tried making a margarita for me twice, but it still tasted like nail polish, and I was informed that the alcohol used was "reposado." The rooms are outdated, and the towels are dry and rough. There are very few healthy food options available; the juices and smoothies contain over 40-50 grams of sugar, and lunch selections primarily consist of burgers and fried items. Out of all the Gaylord properties I have visited, this one has been the most disappointing.

The venue is stunning, with beautiful decor. The staff is fantastic, and there are plenty of food and drink options. I attended a three-day conference and was thoroughly impressed with everything. I would love to return for a personal trip. It's a wonderful all-in-one location for any conference! Room rating: 3/5.

It is definitely Disney inspired Hotel, but it is not worth $350+ per room. I stayed and the bathroom was old with the plastic curtain on it, the carpet smelled old and the furniture was dirty on the top. You can stay much better for a better price, and come to visit only. For kids is great, but everything has a price tag. No “free” activities… if I came back in the future, I'll stay in another place and enjoy the day here.Rooms: The rooms are old and are not worth $350+ per day. I stayed here for 3 nights for a work conversation recently. The resort is MASSIVE but beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was a king sized suite, was very spacious, clean, and was decorated nicely. I lucked out and had a view of Lake Grapevine as well!Rooms: Spacious
