Garden Shed - Graskop

Lovely spot to eat some amazing grilled meat. All made with raw fire!

First restaurant in South Africa and we really enjoyed it! Original recipes with the local game that are delicious; ostrich and crocodile! The wine house (we took the white and the red) were more than decent and the banana baked ice cream with butter was super good. Cosy decoration that resolves around several fire places... We left full and at peace

We had a group of 9, and it took maybe 45 min to get our food. They are cooking it outside on the grill and it smells wonderful! If you are looking for faster food go to McDonald’s. The atmosphere is relaxing. Server was very kind. We tried ostrich, crocodile, and zebra. They were all cooked really well. Main dish was Grilled chicken. Loved it. Highly recommend if you are passing thru!

Too slow. I will not bother next time. We waited for 40 minutes to even get the menu. 1h30 to get our drinks, even water. In overall were there for over 3hrs. The owners need to hire more stuff please because only 2 waitresses is evidently not enough Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
