And of course the gluten-free peanut butter cookie. All 3 cakes, cream, cookies were the best (I don't exaggerate anyone I've ever had! Whatever you do, guys, KEEP your chefs, for the food is to live! While we are very elegant thanks to the high sockets with USB ports from each wall table. And the complementary raspberry water. And the tasty, lifting Melow jazz that played when I was there. This is the place you would enjoy in one of the fun neighborhoods of San Francisco, and here it is right in ours. Thank you.
I had three things from Durga. First was a turkey salad cranberry sauce sandwich with bacon. There are many things that can go wrong with this kind of sandwich. It can be dry. Mine was moist and delicate. It can drown in Mayo. I don't think it had Mayo. The cranberry sauce can be too sweet. Mine had a perfect mix of tar, sweet and a touch bitter. The whole was characterized by great freshness and true aromas. Even the bacon was special, somehow different from ordinary bacon. Secondly, Durgas was hummus I got at Briar Patch. This was also very fresh and light tasting, bright aromas. Finally, my 6-year-old son and I got breakfast bread. These were roasted English muffins with egg, cheese and bacon. Such a simple thing, but again it was the freshness and quality of each component made it better than the sum of its parts. My son said Daddy, corn on the cob is still my favorite, bacon is my second favorite, and this is my combined favorite. Staff are efficient, well organized and charming, attentive, but do not distract. The coffee was also excellent.
They make fantastic vegan foods that feel healthy and taste (in contrast to some places that only add extra iceberg salad or runny beans or something)! And their staff is so friendly – great customer service seems to be a dying art, but not here. Very recommended Durga!
Love loves this place! the food and smoothies is amazing. the service is excellent. Today I had the best salad, the Arugla Beet Yam salad, and it was really one of the best salads I ever had. ive had New Moons for tiny lunch arugla Beet Salat and it has nothing on the salad I had today! I also have my friends chicken salad and that was amazing too! the berry smoothie with cherry juice and coconut milk is my favorite smoothie. all other smoothies are also great! so glad that this addition to the organic restaurants in our area sweet art also up here!
Great service and food! I'm glad I stopped by here the other morning. The breakfast sandwich that I ordered was so delicious and HOT!
