My sandwich seemed to be only half the size of a regular sandwich and did not taste very good. When they charge $10 for a sandwich, it should be bigger. The staff seemed to struggle to make two sandwiches, even though it was not busy at all. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Recently, I visited Gristmill and decided to try one of their famous breakfast burritos. While waiting for my meal, I glanced at their display case and saw them - elephant ears! I was ecstatic and bought a couple to enjoy. They were just as I remembered from my childhood, bringing me back to those happy memories. If you're ever at Gristmill, be sure to try their elephant ears (and their delicious breakfast burritos) for a taste of pure joy.
They are the best. They made my wedding cake in 1995. It was gorgeous and yummy! We love to visit this friendly family operation. We have never had a bad experience there.
Went for sandwiches on a nice sunny day for a picnic. They have lots of choices. The meats and cheeses were excellent. However, they were overshadowed by the abundance of bread. Service was a little slow but otherwise fine.
It has everything a local could really need. food and location are A+
