On several occasions she went beyond and beyond to ensure that my group was supervised. I randomly did not order a meal for one of our participants and she was quick to help me pick up the order itself. This is a fantastic location to host a group.
My husband and I had a night here. All in all, it was a perfect stay. The staff is polite, pleasant and professional. Our room has been updated, attractive and CLEAN. The bed was sooo comfortable! I saw under the attached leaf to see what kind of mattress it was and saw that it was a tempur pedic. That said it! We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. I loved the free wine and snacks this evening as well as the wonderful breakfast of Omelettes and waffles. But I have to say what I loved most about the whole experience... Titi! The little angry GVCS star stole the show, and our hearts, Lol! First, this sweet little cat jumps on the table and sits on my check-in sheet! Okay, she owns the place and she lets us know! So if you don't like cats, be careful. But we don't care! We love Titi and hopefully she stays. We're always back!
Excellent service. Wonderful breakfast. Incredibly kind people. Lovely, homey rooms. Easy parking. Good location.
It just enjoyed a great accommodation in GVCS. Our room was beautiful! High ceilings, a historic brick wall, the most comfortable bed I have ever enjoyed, great pillows, perfect layered bedding made for a perfect sleep. The room had everything I want. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub with the lively fence of vines, grapes and flowers. Looks and smells like Hawaii. The fresh breakfast with bread, fruits, juices and custom omelet (again on the pool) provided a perfect way to start the day. Shopping was a short walk to Mill St and many restaurants. I'll be back soon! A bargain at double price. Everyone we met was happy, friendly and helpful. I personally loved being welcomed by a pretty white kitty. The other 90%.
My wife and I were in Grass Valley Courtyard Suites on Sunday to Wednesday in April 2022. When I approached the lobby, I saw a cat sitting in the middle of the lobby staring at me. I'm extremely allergic to cats. Ten percent of Americans are allergic to cats. My wife closed the check-in because I didn't want to get sick. We were first assigned a room next to the lobby. I asked for another room because I didn't want to get sick. We had a charge because it was a better room, further out of the lobby. I asked the employees if the cat was always in the lobby and asked if she went to the breakfast area. She said it was coming and going, and she really didn't know. She said, "We are pet friendly, so we have our animal ambassador in the lobby. "I explained to her that this is not a common understanding of "pet kind". She's shroff. I have not seen a point in further discussions on cat policy at local level. I avoided the lobby, but every time I came through to get the breakfast, the cat was in the lobby, mostly on the couch. All the nice things people say in their reviews are true, but it doesn't matter if you are 1 out of 10 people who get sick around cats.
