Danielli - Grasse

Danielli is located in the Plan de Grasse, a formerly industrial area that is becoming more and more commercial. We have passed it several times while running errands without even noticing it was there. Yesterday, we found it here on TripAdvisor and decided to check it out. The special was what they called their version of tartiflette. Now, if you have ever had the real thing, this was no comparison. But if you haven't or if you have an open mind, you would taste the most delicious mashed potato casserole topped with lardons and crispy baked cheese. It came with salad, curried carrots, ratatouille, and rather plain lentils, the only thing in the meal that was not absolutely Delicious! The penne with mushroom sauce and foie gras was more typically French and equally wonderful. Prices are reasonable and the service was fast and welcoming. Highly recommend. Open for lunch all week, supper only on Weekends.

C'est vraiment excellent. Cuisine de qualité avec de bon produits frais. Quand au personnel, il est très gentil et compétents. On y retournera.
