Great food while listening to great music. Waiters were fun.
We were seated at 545p. At 650p, the server very reluctantly stopped (for the first time) to see what we wanted. This was absolutely NOT the server 's fault. This was the result of one server attempting to serve 80-100 people. Can you say extremely poor management? Sure, I knew you could. We stayed only because we liked the band playing that night and had nothing better to do. At some point it just became a game to see how long it would take. This night, it was totally self-service for drinks. Some people saw the writing on the wall and went to a nearby facility for food which they then brought into the restaurant . Wish I 'd have thought of that.
The venue is lovely, the Rick Leider Band was sensational, the delay on getting food was not good at all. Over 30 minutes to get a drink, and we were told by our waiter that he could not take food orders right away. When we could order it was an additional HOUR before simple food was delivered. The folded metal chairs were an unpleasant surprise, since I made the reservation more than 2 weeks prior. All in all follow the band anywhere, if you go to this establishment, eat first.
Visiting Marathon last week, we stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting my mother at Slap Jacks. The food, which leans heavily towards Greek cuisine, service and cocktails were all fantastic. Everyone in our party enjoyed it so much, we came back the next night. Great live entertainment seven nights a week certainly doesn’t hurt. If you’re visiting the area, do yourself a favor and pop into this hidden gem. I promise you won’t regret it!
