In beautiful downtown Grayslake, this cozy coffee shop is so much more. Great food, treats, edible gifts and cards are all available. Their outdoor eating area brings the community together and is especially comfortable when the weather cooperates. Try it out on a quiet Sunday morning. We also like to pick up orders to go.
We drove up from about 3 hours away to visit a veterinarian specialist and they pointed us to this place to kill some time. The coffee was great and the variety of options they had for snacks astounded me. I wish we had a bit more time so we could havetried some of their food off of the menu, everything looked great. We sat inside and enjoyed looking at all of the wall artwhile we chatted and enjoyed our coffee and snacks. Parking was easy enough downtown. There were spots on the next block over. I imagine it would get more difficult during a busier time. We were right on time getting back to the vet and we're glad tohave stopped by the shop.
A downtown Grayslake gem. The atmosphere is EXACTLY what you'd want in a neighborhood coffee shop, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, right on the main street of downtown Grayslake. The coffee is always solid, they always have the usual staplesplus they rotate an interesting flavored variety if that's your thing. But the real treat is the baked goods absolutelyphenomenal variety of really yummy muffins, cakes, cookies, scones, etc. So good! I've also had breakfast here a few times andthe food is always great to go along with friendly service. Great coffee and the chocolate lover 's muffin was not bad. Service is meh, if you 're ok with feeling like you 're bothering them and aren 't thanked for your patronage. A simple smile, Hi, can I take your order? and a Thank you! go a long way!
