El Cancha - Grazalema

Benamahoma is a pueblo blanco high in the mountains where you can lie back on your sunbed and see vultures and other birds riding the thermals. Amazing. Not touristy at all because of its remoteness we were concerned we might not find a place to eat given there is only a small selection of bars and cafes to choose from but there in the street were some tables and chairs surrounded by locals sitting out in the evening and our smiling host presented us with wonderful dishes, in particular the asparagus in batter with spinach sauce completely delicious. We loved the fact we could pick wine or a selection of jamon and queso according to what was available and once it had run out that was it. Dining out with the tender Spanish night around your shoulders was absolutely magical. We ate there again on another night and it was just tasty the second time.

Ate here several times while on holidays. Very friendly service. Good choice of menu. Food and wine very good. Nice outdoor patio and inside restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

Buen sitio para comer en el pueblo de Benamahoma. Es un sitio muy familiar y comimos muy bien. No había mesa pero nos prepararon una mesa alta y perfecto. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20

El guiso de venado bastante weno y el vino de la sierra de Cádiz también, servicio bastante rápido, y el ambiente todo tranquilito (aunque me hubiera gustado comer fuera). Al probarlo, sin duda alguna me fío de que ese venado ha sido cazado en la sierra de Cádiz Por cierto, también tienen disponible carne de caza: perdiz, corzo, jabalí, etc, por si alguien está interesado en probar un producto clásico de la sierra para vivir la máxima experiencia.

Agradecidos por habernos atendido a pesar de llegar muy tarde. Comida y trato excelente. Los espárragos con crema de espinacas buenísimos. Todo lo que pedimos estaba exquisito, no hice más fotos porque nos los comimos rapidísimo. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
