Agaves Mexican Grill - Great Barrington

Wish I could give 4.5 stars, but a very nice lunch with attentive service. Food could have used a little more zing, but we were both happy with our choices. Would return.

We arrived at a somewhat busy time as far as only 2 servers so it was a little bit of a wait for menus and drinks . Next was the arrival of chips and salsa although very good , the chips were at the bottom of the bag type . The salsa was very good . We ordered Street corn for appetizer and they were delicious a must to try. I had steak street tacos , they were very good but I think a little on the dry side. I had to ask for hot sauce which was not offered to us when the meals came. Hubby had the burrito grande and it was good . It did not come with anything but a little lettuce so we should have ordered salsa and sour cream on the side which of course is a minimum of 2.00 upcharge per item . I'm from Arizona and I can't imagine a Mexican dish not served with salsa and sour cream but that's just me . Will we return ? Yeah probably . I feel better prepared on how to order things that I like and I'm sure it will be great .

My family and I love this place and eat here often. Fun clean atmosphere, crispy chips right out of the fryer w/ fresh salsa, top shelf margs made with real lime, good portions, fair prices, excellent super friendly wait staff who I’m happy to tip well.

I had a salad with shrimp which was well cooked and fresh, my friend had fish tacos, we had nothing to drink, yet the lunch bill was over 50 so I think it’s a bit pricey!

The food is always delicious and the staff also deserves 5 stars! I get the same thing every time- steak street tacos with rice and beans and it's usually enough for 2 meals. I'm happy to drive 45 minutes each way for takeout!
