I've eaten in some of the best sushi restaurants in the country. I put bizen on the best. The quality of the fish is top notch. Bizen is a jewel in the Berkshires! Better than NOBU, yes, I said it! 5 stars all around!
Delicious fresh sushi and other authentic Japanese foods. Beautiful decoration including the panels that are custom made. The sushi is prepared by a master expertly, a true work of art that you can eat when visiting the Berkshires. My voice for the best food in Berkshires
I worked here from November 2007 to March 2008. This restaurant is beautiful! The upper floor has a sushi bar in the centre. The owner himself works in it and we rubbed elbows. The bar has a Robata Grill for appetizers such as shrimps and chicken skewers. In addition to the main menu, there is also a Kaiseki menu that offers authentic Japanese cuisine. The Miso soup is wonderful as well as the green tea ice cream that the owner makes. The top floor also has authentic private Kaiseki rooms with Geisha Girl Service. If you go down a staircase to the lower level, you will find a display of the beautiful ceramic of the owner. It is also an additional dining area with wooden cabins and tables. The servers are polite, experienced and knowledgeable. The buses help them well by running food and desserts. They also serve warm towel before meal and keep up with beverage refills. All Sushi/Sashimi are freshly prepared and of the highest quality. The special rolls are very unique and creative, while traditional rolls are also available. The bar has liqueur, American and Japanese beer as well as Sake (cold and hot). The main menu features traditional noodles, chicken teriyaki and tuna steaks (only to name a few). The amount of variety in the menus, high-quality service and beautiful atmosphere will come here again and again. I live too far away now, but I miss this place very much. No matter how many Japanese restaurants I can eat throughout my life, this will always be my favorite! Thanks for every Michael Marcus to teach Sushi. I still do it today. I wish you all the best in life and in your business. Take care of yourself.
The best sushi and everything they serve is an art piece. Delicious and Michael make a little ten years old birthday very special. Thank you
