The Cranford Inn - Great Torrington

I’m so relieved that we now have an excellent local restaurant! They offer plenty of seating and a variety of themed events from around the world. The staff is friendly and dedicated to providing a great experience, making every visit feel special. They also support the community and promote delicious, homemade food, including authentic cakes! What more could we ask for? It’s truly excellent!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the pork—it reminded me of the best crackling I had as a child at my grandmother's house. The Yorkshire puddings were impressive as well and clearly homemade. I highly recommend the Sunday roast!

My parents visited us yesterday evening at the Cranford Inn and treated us to dinner, and we all had a wonderful time. The atmosphere in the pub was beautiful and relaxing, with plenty of space between tables, allowing for conversation without excessive noise. The food was amazing; three of us ordered the hake, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, while one person had the curry of the day, which was also very nice. Be sure to save room for dessert! We enjoyed the banana cake served on a hazelnut crumb with ginger ice cream—it was incredible. My father had the best sticky toffee pudding ever, complete with rich cream. It was great value for money, and the service was very friendly. We can't wait to go back!

Very friendly renter who is determined to make the cranford a 'gate to' food destination and, ably supported by a young talented chef, they really succeed. our own, family and friends as well as guests from our self-catering homes have eaten several times here in the last few months and all were more than satisfied with the quality and quantity (shares are generous! . on Sunday I had lunch for a long time in a pub.

Agree 100% with previous reviews. Top quality Sunday lunch roast pork, delicious puds, v quiet setting. Best to book for Sunday lunch to be sure, as I think they cook not much more than they know will be eaten (hence great quality for the price).
