The Laurels Inn - Great Torrington

This is a wonderful little pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We stopped by during our holiday, hoping to grab a late lunch since we arrived too early to check into our cottage. Although we had just missed lunch service, we decided to stay for a drink and a game of pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided us with plenty of helpful local tips.

We dropped by this pub for a drink during our stay in the area. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the locals were very friendly, even inviting us to join their game of pool, which was a lot of fun! As South Africans, we had a great time sharing some banter after our victory in the World Cup! We highly recommend this pub if you're in the area; we didn't eat, but we certainly enjoyed a few pints!

This pub used to be the best in the whole area. Sadly, it is now little more than a 'sports bar ' with two televisions now. I 've never tried the food, as I didn 't like the look of the menu.I 've given up visiting, as I feel about as welcome as a fart in an elevator. I can 't wait until it sells (again).

Lovely little pub! stoped here on our holidays friendly helpful people. We would have like to go back but we ran out of time. Plus pool is only 50p!
