Pub On The Pier - Great Yarmouth

Is a holiday also a holiday without a trip to the pier? the coffee is so beautiful. it is the perfect place to relax with family and friends inside or outside. the staff is helpful and friendly and the place is so clean. we love...visit

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hunters chicken was a tasty meal and the portions were good. I will definately eat there again.

There were 5 of us. Two had their meals delivered incorrectly. (As in Cod for Scampi) This seemed to be because of the inexperience of the young staff. Sounds like a management problem to me. My own meal was wrong and it was taken away...only to be brought back with the correct food but they had just replaced the wrong bits and left the rest to cool off so that most of it was no more than warm/cold. Some of us had finished before the others had started. We were offered a free drink in compensation but the problem was that three of us were driving and did not want one so the gesture was pointless. A bit disappointing then. so as we are locals and looking for an eating venue for more than just the summer. If you were me would you recommend the Pier ? I sent this message to the Pier a week ago to allow them to comment before I put something here. I have received nothing back.

Just went to the pub on the pier this evening with my mate for my birthday . The drinks were very good price. The atmosphere was lovely .we sat outside to begin with then came indoors to have some food . The food was delicious.... Everything was lovely especially the twin men that work there, my god they are gorgeous, and very good at their jobs too . They definitely made me and my mates night, always nice to have some eye candy while out with ya mates.

We go quite a lot. The people who work there are so obliging nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed there too and had a fabulous time. The food is really tasty and they always do their best to make sure your dietary needs...are reached. It’s one of the first places we head for when we go. Must say too that when we stayed the room was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there and the view was lovely too.
