The food was the best we had in the two weeks we were in the area, and surprisingly, it was also the cheapest. The portions were generous, and an order of sweet potato fries could have easily served as an evening snack for all of us! The staff were lovely, the customer service was fantastic, and we even got to meet their beautiful old English sheepdogs, Dougal. The play park at the back of the restaurant was great, providing a quieter spot away from the water and other patrons for those looking for a more peaceful dining experience. The location was amazing and there was a great selection of gluten-free options. We will definitely be returning. Apologies for the lack of food photos - we devoured our meals too quickly! For those of you boating, they also provided us with helpful information about tidal patterns and recommended that we watch a YouTube video when we returned to the water. Overall, a very helpful and enjoyable experience.
This is our 4th visit (3rd under this renter) and alison and their hard work team have not disappointed. Thank you, tonight was our 14th anniversary and we needed such a good night after a very disappointing night in horning last night. this pub is a traditional, welcoming, cozy pub that serves good dining, good portions and excellent customer service. Moreover, we had the most beautiful opportunity to meet the 11-month old sheepdog. can not wait to return to the juli and perhaps hit the new supplement to the family. from a difficult customer to please and eat is this pub must!
We had a lovely meal yesterday evening. Fantastic dog friendly pub, our 5 dogs got a wonderful welcome and the service and food was excellent. We'll definitely be visiting again.
The Ferry Inn is definitely the top pub in the area. We enjoyed everything about our visit and stayed all day long. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. One member of our group even said it was the best pub food he has ever tasted, and he has been dining in pubs for the past 71 years.
Moored up for the night and had our evening meal. The Mr had the steak and ale pie which was amazing, I had the veggie red thai curry which was also lovely (though the addition of a salad next to the curry was questionable! Lovely atmosphere and staff, well kept beers and a fantastic view. Be back again on our next holiday for sure!
