It's been a while since I visited pearl boutique bakery but I had the opportunity of attending the opening night about a year and half ago and arrived early and met some incredible people and the beautiful chef Sheena herself and the brilliant ceo Varun. A wonderful evening and few afternoons after for lunch with my brother and friends, I realised this place is special. So special I just knew Vir Sanghvi, my guru and anti-friend for ten years since 2010 when I lit up the Hindustaan times office as intern would want the carbonara on delivery and would wonder. What do you do with such a place and such a brilliant chef like Sheena who could be out of the movie 100 foot journey but from Shillong to New York to Delhi. I don't know her so well, we've met a few times, but she has a bright future but I would recommend she sets up a Michelin restaraunt in Pune. Or Goa. Inspired by Sarah Todd's Antares. I do think baking is a waste of time, I can bake and cook better but I don't get her world. Salt biscotti. Maybe vir or Leeza mangaldas would. God bless. Visit and enjoy some great food. Went for a dine in and ordered spaghetti alio oglio and Mac and cheese. The portions were decent and the dishes cooked delicious. The cream on the Mac and cheese was delectable and rich. The service was good, given the pandemic they upheld the guidelines of safety.<br/
