The Settlement - Green Bay

We hadn't been to The Settlement for years, but we finally had the chance to visit again. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. My granddaughter ordered fries, and the waitress offered to split the order for us. I agreed, but my granddaughter looked a bit confused. When the food arrived, she saw the large portion and realized it was perfect for sharing. Just to give you an idea, the basket was packed full! Also, I should mention that Friday nights feature a fish roast. They truly believe that one order is more than enough; if you order double or triple, you're either going to take some home or share with others. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed once again. This restaurant has been around for decades, and it's easy to see why. The food was great back then, and even forty years after our first visit, it's still fantastic.

I ordered the combination plate and it was definitely worth it! The staff was friendly and the food was worth every cent. I will definitely return!

My granddaughter was a bit puzzled, but when the fries arrived, she realized just how many there were and agreed it was a great idea—definitely enough for a crowd! Just a heads up, on Friday nights they have a fish fry, and we found that even a single order is quite ample. If you opt for double or triple orders, be prepared to either take some home or share with others. Overall, I was once again impressed. This place has been around for decades for a reason—the food was great back then, and forty years since my first visit, it’s still fantastic!

I'm here twice a month. The second time was to show how good the fish frit I got for the first time.

Very affordable prices and exceptional food and service. Always capable of a fun conversation with people I meet. My condolences for the owner and his family who died 2 weeks ago. Quiet in paradise.
