I enjoy the hiro crunch add cream cheese, substitute soy paper with the sweet chili sauce. Chicken fried rice is good however will only buy it at the lunch time hours/price.
Had an issue where the online order went to their downtown location, they ended up refunding me and making the order there. Some of the best customer service I could have asked for. I think this is my favorite location of the three. Highly recommend!
Small plates are my favorite here. The entrées are good (my son loves the peanut butter chicken) and people rave over the sushi (check out the sushi boat), but I choose Hiro 88 for the small plates. This time we chose the aisan short ribs, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken satay, spring rolls, and goyza. Other favorites are the green beans, Brussel sprouts and hot and sour soup. It's fun to taste all the different items and switch up the sauces. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We loved the short ribs this time- tender beef grilled to perfection. The atmosphere is modern and serene. Menus are by QR code but, the sticker on our table had been cleaned so often my phone couldn't read it. The server saw our attempts and provided a printed menu. The service was amazing. She gave us ordering suggestions, accommodated a special drink order, re-filled our drinks, cleared the plates, asked if we liked everything, all without hovering. In my book she did everything I appreciate from a server. It was a fun week night date.
I absolutely love Hiro 88. Everything is perfect about this restaurant—down to the shiny bulbous lighting and bamboo chopsticks; the atmosphere of this place is immaculate. One comment I have is for the Tereyaki chicken. Now, let me warn y’all, my appetizers were FIRE. And i mean FIREEE. But the tereyaki chicken….mmmm…pass. That stuff was nasty and unseasoned. It was like eating dry pebbles basted in watery soy sauce. It was evident that there was not enough sauce on my chicken. And I love me some good tereyaki chicken, but this was just NOT it. If any of you order it, i want to warn yall to PRE ORDER more sauce instead of asking for it after because it was a $3.00 charge to get more tereyaki sauce on the side. Again, that tereyaki chicken was giving dried up pieces of nastiness. Big back on my friends. #my500lblife.
