They had some specials pitched towards the Mexican holiday. They weren 't that bad. Neither of us drink so it was a little bit awkward. As it was lunch time, we both had burgers which were good and cooked as ordered. The menu was very small. The kitchen was good and quick and the waitress was polite. I do not know if the small menu was an artifact of Cinco de Mayo. They are more pitched to The Ladies Who Lunch Regards, OldeBear
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly and good looking, lol. The music was surprisingly refreshing and made me smile when I heard some 90's unusual genres. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. It was nice to have a hearty meal that was not fast food. Good job Maria's!
First time here tonight. The service was spot on. Everything else not so much. The food was especially disapointing. Im pretty sure the walleye is just swai. Pretty mushy for one of the best fresh water white fish. My previous experiences with walleye was more like halibut. We also ordered the pot roast. It was more like pan cooked chuck roast than tender fall apart pot roast. The mashed potatoes were great though. Both dishes came with underwhelming boiled vegies on the side. The music choice was odd considering Green Valley is mostly 55+. 90 's rap and R&B. Overall we got the vibe of a restaurant you 'd see on some tv show where the host saves the place. Prices were fair if the food was better.
Everything was great an eleven out of ten! My server (Vince) was quick, friendly attentive; the food (a salmon salad martini) were perfect. I will definitely be telling my friends about this place ... and coming back. : D
We have always loved our meals at Maria’s. We knew this evening that they have a new chef (new to Maria’s, not new to GV). We had great food this evening. Very tasty mushroom soup. The trout was presented differently than in the past, but was even tastier. The fresh veggies were very good. The short rib special was amazing enough for 3 meals. Our waiter Daniel was very good and so amiable. Service was a bit slow, but that’s what you expect in todays understaffed restaurants. Keep it up, Kimberley and team!
